Compensation Range:

 $29,176 to $42,013 per annum

Description:

This entry level position entails assembly and test of products. (low level of difficulty)

Requirements:
  • Grade 12 Diploma or equivalent
  • Knowledge and experience with computers
  • Excellent hand eye coordination
  • A high level of concentration
  • Ability to distinguish colours
  • Ability to solder to acceptable standards
  • The capability to work with little or no supervision

Duties & Responsibilities:
  • Assembly of products from a model
  • Test finish product to ensure it is assembled correctly
  • Ensure correct assembly as per internal documentation
  • Use of AutoCAD plots and the cutting laser to create sensors
  • Trouble-shoot assembly problems
  • Perform all duties as per the applicable Quality Program Procedure
  • Ability to work in a “clean room” environment

Physical Demands:
  • No physical impairments that would restrict long periods of standing and sitting, or repetitive motion. Periods of strong visual attention (Assembly Work) required. Potential for back and sholder strain.

Working Conditions:
  • Minor/limited exposure to chemicals and solder fumes typical to a manufacturing environment
