How do I determine if AEM can service my part?

Our facility in Kelowna provides all repair services for AEM products. For other products, please reference our repair capabilities list to verify if we can service your product. If you have an NAT product that is not on our capability list, please email or call Cobham Avionics in Prescott, AZ for instructions.

How do I request a loaner unit while mine is in for repair?

Send us an email or give us a call to see if we have a loaner unit available. You can reach our support team at (250) 763-1088, Ext. 2.

Do I need an RMA (return merchandise authorization) to ship a unit in for repair?

An RMA number is not mandatory to send in an AEM product for repair; however, requesting an RMA up front can save time later. An RMA number for AEM products can be obtained here. For Cobham Products, obtain your RMA number by clicking here.

What information do I need to provide to start an RMA for an AEM product?

If you are already a customer with AEM:

1. Company name

2. Part number and serial number

3. Reported fault or reason for the return

4. Contact name and email address or fax number

If you have not dealt with AEM before, we will request additional information to set up an account for you.

If you are shipping from the US, please remember to use an international waybill and include the necessary customs documents. If you have a NAT product that is not on our capabilities list, please contact Cobham Aerospace Communications.

How can I troubleshoot a problem or get technical advice regarding one of your products?

Get in touch with our support team via email and we’ll help find a solution to your problem. AEM will continue to work closely with CAC to provide the manufacturing and engineering services, as well as product support (including integration, installation, and repair), of legacy NAT and dB Systems products.

 

How do I get a diagram or parts list for a NAT derivative unit that is not in my service manual?

The best way to obtain diagrams or parts lists is to email our Product Support Department.

How do I schedule an audit or add AEM as a new supplier or service provider?

If we’re not already on your approved vendor list, please contact us by email and we'll provide you with the necessary steps.
