(AEM), introduces the industry’s newest and most advanced narrowband/wideband panel-mount VHF FM radio for special-mission platforms. The MTP138 is a modern and reliable solution for analog communication on all channels across the 138MHz to 174MHz frequency band.

The MTP138 was developed in consultation with offshore, air medical, search and rescue, coast guard and forest service operators, and boasts a robust design to ensure high performance in lengthy and demanding offshore oil & gas, windfarm and specialized mission environments.
The brand-new radio features a large 3.5-inch NVIS-compatible screen displaying all channel and zone information, it’s simple to use, and puts all control and easy programming at the user’s fingertips.
The MTP138 custom installation and conversion kits make mission system upgrades and replacements easy. The radio can also be converted to a Project 25 digital transceiver as required.
AEM is actively evaluating regional STCs for the most popular aircraft models to assist with operator integration. Stay tuned as these projects come to market.
